ST. JUDE ENDOWMENT FUND
OVERVIEW
The St. Jude Fund was started in 2023. The purpose of the fund was to provide long term annual gifts to areas that are special to the donor. One half of the interest of this fund is to be split three ways between St. Thomas Academy, St. Thomas Parish and a fund at the Diocese of Baker to help the special needs of priests in the diocese.
The distributions are unrestricted. The other half is returned to the principle for growth. The funding source is long term estate planning of the donor. Some funding is ongoing, the major funding will come at the donor’s death. The fund will begin distributions in 2025.
